The Media and Communications Department works with city officials and departments to make ours a city that provides open and honest government and is charged with maintaining relationships with community and media. Our mission is to provide timely, factual information about Sandy Springs.
Among the tasks performed by this department are development and maintenance of the city website, writing and producing quarterly newsletters, monthly eblasts and an annual report, working with citizens to resolve issues, creating effective communication pieces for/with other departments and responding to the media.
