MONTHLY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS & SKY OBSERVING
Learn about telescopes and the many beautiful sights in the heavens – planets, comets, deep space nebulae, galaxies, star clusters – and how to recognize and enjoy them, spoken in Plain English. Each month a guest speaker will present an educational program on a different topic for newcomers and beginners followed by a scheduled guest speaker program for those interested in the more detailed aspects of astronomy and astrophysics. You may also bring any type of telescope - new, unused or rarely used - if you need some instruction on how to operate it. The members of the Atlanta Astronomy Club will assist you with set up and operation so you can enjoy the wonders of the night sky.
