Are you satisfied with the service you received from the City’s Community Development Department? That is what the City of Sandy Springs wants to know from homeowners, builders and developers. The City recently launched a new survey feedback program designed to solicit input.
“Customer service is a priority for the City. We want to know what we are doing well, as well as what the areas are that we need focus on in order to improve the services we provide,” said Sandy Springs City Manager John McDonough.
To encourage participation in the nine question survey, city staff will be distributing business card-sized survey reminders as they work with homeowners, developers and builders. Cards also will be located in the Planning office reception area. The cards contain a QR (Quick Response) code to enable users to participate in the survey via their smart phone, as well as a web address for those who prefer to take the survey via their computer.
“We will review the feedback and identify areas where improvements are needed,” added Angela Parker, the City’s Community Development Director. “The feedback will enable us to stay aligned with the needs of those doing business with the City. We want to facilitate a positive, customer friendly experience.”
In response to customer input, this past fall, the Community Development Department extended its deadline for scheduling next day inspections from noon to 2 p.m. Permit application forms and fee schedules are available online at www.sandyspringsga.gov on the Community Development Department page.
