• LOUD DEMOLITION WORK TO RESUME NEAR I-285

    Demolition work near I-285 is expected to begin this week, between Monday and Wednesday, as part of the Roswell Road Bridge improvement project. The work will last for 2-3 days and will be noisy.   • HUMAN RESOURCES SERVICES

    The City of Sandy Springs has issued an Request for Proposal for the delivery of Human Resources Services for City employees. A pre-proposal conference to review the submission criteria and answer questions regarding the Solicitation will be held at Sandy Springs City Hall on Wednesday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers Training Room.

  • GEORGIA 400 LANE RECONFIGURATION

    The Georgia Department of Transportation is allowing motorists to drive on the southbound outside (far right) shoulder lane of Georgia 400 from 6:30-9:30 a.m., Monday-Friday at two locations: The first is between Holcomb Bridge Road and Northridge Road exits, and the second is between the Northridge Road and the North Springs MARTA Station exits.   • NATIONAL KIDS TO PARKS DAY

    Children in Sandy Springs can take part in a grassroots movement to reclaim America’s parks through play on Saturday, May 19, 2012, during the second National Park Trust’s (NPT) National Kids to Parks Day.

    Mayor Eva Galambos will proclaim National Kids to Parks Day in Sandy Springs on May 19th and encourages locals to participate by exploring Hammond Park from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
